What a smile makeover involves

Longevity and aftercare

A makeover lasts as long as its components: whitening fades in one to three years, composite lasts four to eight, veneers and crowns often ten to fifteen or more. That means a makeover is a long-term maintenance commitment, not a one-off event — restorations will eventually need replacing. Daily hygiene, regular check-ups and a night guard for grinders protect the result.
