This notice explains how Ledaliva Publishing (“we”, “us”), publisher of Dental Turkey Guide, collects and processes personal data. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

1. Data controller

Ledaliva Publishing, Istanbul, Turkey, acts as the data controller (under KVKK, veri sorumlusu) for personal data collected through this website. Contact: iletisim@ledalivaart.com.

2. What data we collect

When you submit an enquiry form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, country, the treatment you are interested in, and any message you write. We may also process limited technical data (such as the fact and time of a submission) needed to operate the form and prevent abuse.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, health or medical details through this form. Please keep enquiries general.

3. Why we process it, and our legal basis

To respond to your enquiry We process your data to reply with general guide information you have requested. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)); under KVKK, your explicit consent (açık rıza). You give this via the required consent checkbox on the form.
To share your details with clinics — only if you separately agree If, and only if, you tick the second, optional consent box, we will forward your enquiry to up to three verified clinics so they can contact you with information or a quote. This is a separate, specific consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK explicit consent) that you can withhold and still use this guide. If you do not tick it, we do not share your details with any clinic.
To keep records and prevent misuse We may retain limited data to keep a record of consents and to protect the form from spam and abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) balanced against your rights.

The two consents are independent. The first is required to receive a reply from us; the second is entirely optional and concerns sharing with clinics only.

4. Who receives your data

Your enquiry is received by Ledaliva Publishing. If you have given the separate optional consent described above, it is also shared with up to three clinics you can be introduced to. We use service providers (for example email and hosting) to operate the site; they process data on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

We are based in Turkey, and clinics you may be introduced to are typically in Turkey. If you contact us from the European Economic Area or elsewhere, your data may be transferred to and processed in Turkey. Where required, such transfers are based on your explicit consent and/or appropriate safeguards. Under KVKK, cross-border transfer of personal data is carried out in line with the conditions set out in the law.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected — normally no longer than 12 months after our last contact with you about the enquiry, unless a longer period is required to comply with a legal obligation or to keep a record of consent. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. Under KVKK (Art. 11) you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information and correction or deletion, and to object to results arising from automated analysis. To exercise any right, or to withdraw consent, email iletisim@ledalivaart.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the EU, your national data protection authority; in Turkey, the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu).

8. Withdrawing consent

You can withdraw either consent at any time by emailing us. Withdrawing the optional sharing consent means we will not make any further introductions to clinics; it does not affect sharing that already took place while consent was valid.

9. Cookies

This site is built as static pages and does not set advertising or tracking cookies by default. If any analytics or functional cookies are introduced, this notice will be updated and, where required, consent will be requested.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows the current version.

Summary. We only use your enquiry to reply to you. We only share your details with clinics if you separately and explicitly opt in, and you can use this entire guide without doing so.
